After the achievement of Victor GLX in 125 cc segment, TVS motors has come up with a new 125 cc bike - TVS Flame loaded with more higher features. It’s fitted with disc brakes and comes with black coated engines and frame so it’s targeted at the current interest of bike lovers.
Looks: Well my first feeling was that the bike is a copy of many other bikes. For example have a look at the headlight, does that resemble the one of pulsar? Hmm… And the tanks…. remember ambition?? Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 112 kmpl under test conditions, which is not quite extraordinary from TVS bikes which has proved to be very much fuel well-organized
After the open of TVS flame, competition in 125cc is getting tougher as already bikes like bajaj discover, Hero Honda Glamour, Suzuki Zeus and heat, Hero Honda Super Splendor are already ruling the segment. TVS Flame Price: 45k - Ex Showroom in Chennai for the drum handbrake version and 3000 extra for disc version.
Features of TVS Flame:
(1). First time in India- the LCD digital auto console in a 125 cc segment bike.
(2). Flame’s dual lens tail amp will definitely turn the heads.
(3). India’s first Delta edge exhaust in triangle shape lowers the sounds, emissions delivering excellent performance.
(4). the 125 cc engine gives 10.5 bhp @ 8250 rpm that are Flame’s power performance statement.
(5). Futuristic sleek styling.
(6). The Fuel tank is entrenched with Delta Edge clear lens indicators.

Well this could be the reply to Bajaj automobiles’ Pulsar’s 250cc by TVS - TVS Taurus the new 250cc bike from TVS says it’s a by no means ending opposition.
250cc Engine (Again single cylinder though) is what powers it. The main attraction is disc brake for the real wheel as well…. cool (Pulsar 250cc is being outdated there even before the launch!!). Price…….. Little costly compared to Pulsar 250cc… It could come somewhere around 1.30 L. Hope this bike captures the Indian roads soon. Just had a glance of few snaps of Taurus… Looks really sturdy
